(As she is gettin him in bed)
Grandma, is tomorrow Church day?
No, tomorrow is Saturday.
Punches the air in excitement.....and says Yessssssss!
chuckling, she says, you don't like church?
I don't like primary, the teachers and all the people, boss me around and tell me what to do.
Yeah, they are mean, I don't like it. In fact they are rude!!
trying not to laugh says. You should try this sunday, whenever anyone asks you to do something say, sure I would love to do that, and just be extra nice to the teachers.
He just looks at my Mom, with one of those looks like.....I am not buying this.
We were all laughing so hard. He has a hard time sitting in primary, as you can imagine. He did give his first talk last week, and did great. I think this is funny now, but if he still feels the same about church in his older year........that is not gonna keep me laughing!

So Chad has been going to the gym with his brother's in law for like 2 weeks now. And up to that point he had never been in his life. It isn't like he has to worry about his weight, so not fair. and his job as a builder has always kept him really active. So since no one is building right now, he is feeling pretty lazy. (even though he isn't) He has been debating on if, and where he should get a pass for a week now. I didn't think he would actually ever get one, and that this gym thing is a phase. And 10 minutes ago he was on the phone with his Mom (she is a manager at a gym) and he got one. I was really shocked, and excited! He went with Idaho Athletic Club, I tried to sell him on Gold's Gym, but he went with the better price. He does not make a big commitment like this lightly, so I know he will use it. In fact, he is there now with Chris. I think it will be fun to share another interest with Chad. I have been doing the gym thing since my highschool days with Krissy. We can take the kids to the gym, and workout together now. I love being with him, so any excuse is great. Plus I can totally smoke him on the leg machines (he might let me think that anyway!) I have a pass at Idaho Athletic too, even though I work for Gold's and get my pass there for free. Long story short, gym contracts are really hard to get out of, so always read the fine print!

Last week at my awesome book club my sister-in-law Emily showed me her blog book she had just had made. It looked so great, and totally inspired me. I always beat myself up about not keeping a journal, and my lack of skill and creativity when it comes to scrapbooking. I try, but I have just come to accept that I am not one of those domestic, crafty type woman. So that is why I am so excited about this Blog book thing! No more stressing that I am not making enough cute scrapbooks for my children and posterity......seriously, I loose sleep thinking about all my failures as an un-artistic woman! And, I am going to start writting some of the sweet, funny, and of course frustrating things my kids do. That way it will always be there for them to read someday. I know Kemper won't beleive at 4 1/2 he threatened to run away, and he packed his suitcase with his whole underwear and sock drawer, and no matching shoes. You can't make this stuff up!! And I don't want to forget it. So thanks Emily for showing me your sweet book. And fair warning that I will be posting stuff that might not be all that exciting to most, but to us, someday it could be priceless!
